Dr. Ryan Colaianni grew up in Lake Mary, a northern suburb of Orlando, and discovered his passion for dentistry early on thanks to his love for science and the influence of his stepfather, an endodontist. He followed his academic curiosity from Lake Mary to the University of Alabama, where he completed his undergraduate studies. From there, he returned to Central Florida to earn his master's in biomedical sciences at UCF before completing his dental training at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, graduating DMD Cum Laude.

With years of clinical experience and membership in the American Dental Association, Dr. Ryan has combined his technical expertise with genuine care to create a dental experience unlike any other. He believes in simplifying dentistry so that patients can feel confident, informed, and empowered in their oral health decisions. Known for his approachable demeanor and thoughtful communication style, Dr. Ryan ensures that every patient feels respected, heard, and seen.

Dr. Ryan’s clinical preferences lean toward cosmetic dentistry, especially smile transformations through veneers. For him, watching confidence blossom in his patients, often for the first time in years, is the most rewarding part of the job. He strives to reflect the same level of trust and craftsmanship in every treatment he provides.

Driven by a desire to create something meaningful and lasting, Dr. Ryan founded Lighthouse Dental Studio not just as a place of exceptional dental care, but as a brand that represents integrity, quality, and community. With a vision to become the most trusted dental home in St. Johns County, he’s paving the way for a practice where patients feel proud to belong.

Outside of the operatory, Dr. Ryan enjoys time with his wife, toddler daughter, and baby son. You’ll often find him outdoors doing what he loves most, whether it's golfing, skiing, hiking, fishing offshore, or unwinding with his family at the beach.
